for our little patients
It is important to know how to treat them so they can relax and want to cooperate.
This is the branch dedicated to solving ear, nose and throat problems in little ones, whose organs are different from an adult’s and require specialised treatment.
Children have one great particularity: sometimes they cannot say what is bothering them or answer complex medical questions. At Bmum we care for the littlest ones, so it is important to know how to treat them so they can relax and want to cooperate.
We adapt to their timing, their moments and their needs
During childhood, infectious conditions of the ENT area are very common (otitis, tonsillitis, eardrum perforations…), and obstructive conditions also occur (adenotonsillar hypertrophy, obstructive sleep apnoea-hypopnoea syndrome…).
It is very important for our little patients to keep their hearing intact, as this is the stage when language acquisition takes place. That is why we must look after the auditory pathway and be able to diagnose hearing loss early.
