We look after the development and growth of your children
At Bmum we know that children’s development requires close, safe follow-up grounded in experience. Our paediatric team works with a comprehensive approach, supporting every stage of the healthy child’s growth and ensuring continuous care that includes monitoring their development and correctly administering the vaccines on the official schedule.
As an Authorised Vaccination Centre of the Madrid Health Service, we provide vaccination directly at our facilities, administered by our paediatricians or our paediatric nurse.
We also carry out laboratory tests when necessary, including blood tests, sample collection and cultures, as well as administering medication under medical supervision.
Most importantly: we look after your child’s present to protect their future.

Yes, at Bmum we work with insurance providers that offer a reimbursement option, because we believe quality medical care should be within reach of as many people as possible. If you would like more information about how we manage this service, just ask at reception: we will be delighted to help.
All Bmum services are open to all patients. Even if your little one wasn’t born with us, they can come to the paediatric clinic for well-child check-ups or for a one-off urgent consultation.
We are a vaccination centre accredited by the Community of Madrid. We vaccinate children and record it in SISPAL (the Public Health Information System).

Pediatra especializada en neumología pediátrica y pediatría general de atención primaria. Tiene amplia experiencia en el enfoque integral de las enfermedades respiratorias de los niños y en el acompañamiento del crecimiento y desarrollo del niño sano.
Araceli Marques
Pediatra, subespecializada en Endocrinología Pediátrica, con experiencia asistencial en ámbito hospitalario y atención primaria. Dedicada a la Pediatría General, con trato cercano y enfoque en la atención integral del niño y su familia, integrando una visión global y multidisciplinar del paciente pediátrico.
Blanca Antequera
Cuenta con más de 20 años de experiencia clínica en el ámbito hospitalario y atención primaria.
La mayor parte de su vida laboral la ha desempeñado en Pediatría (urgencias, consulta de neumología, atención del niño sano). Ha colaborado en distintos ensayos clínicos, todos en el ámbito pediátrico y ha participado en distintos congresos nacionales. Actualmente desempeña su papel como enfermera de pediatría en BMUM donde también es responsable de calidad del servicio.
Marta Escribano
Radióloga, licenciada en Medicina por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Formada en el Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda, especialista en radiología pediátrica e intervencionismo pediátrico. Actualmente combina su actividad en Bmum con su actividad como radióloga intervencionista pediátrica en el Hospital Niño Jesús de Madrid.
Javier Calvin
Otorrinolaringólogo infantil. Especialista en cirugía otologica, hipoacusia infantil y alteraciones de la respiración durante el sueño. Amante de los libros de cuentos y de las buenas historias de los pequeños que vienen a la consulta.
Alejandro Lowy Benoliel
El Dr. Lowy es licenciado en medicina y cirugía por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Es especialista en otorrinolaringología vía MIR en el Hospital Gregorio Marañón donde ha formado parte de la Sección de Otorrinolaringología Pediátrica desde 2010. Asi mismo realizó un Fellow en Otorrinolaringología Infantil en el Evelina London Children´s Hospital.

Alejandro García Díaz
Graduado en Medicina por la Universidad de Sevilla y formado en el Hospital Puerta de Hierro de Majadahonda, donde actualmente compagina su actividad asistencial con la de bmum, formando parte del servicio de Gastroenterología Pediátrica. Experiencia en endoscopia digestiva diagnóstica (gastroscopia y colonoscopia pediátricas). Participa de forma activa mediante proyectos de investigación en grupos de trabajo de la Sociedad Española de Gastroenterología Pediátrica (SEGHNP).
Cristina Sánchez Cisneros
Enfermera titulada por la Universidad Pontificia Comillas y Máster en Enfermería Dermoestética por la Universidad Europea de Madrid con más de 25 años de experiencia. Ha desarrollado su carrera profesional en Madrid y en Gran Canaria como enfermera asistencial en el ámbito hospitalario y en el sector de la medicina y cirugía estética.
Lara Martín López
Con experiencia hospitalaria en maternidad y neonatología, ha desarrollado su trayectoria profesional en la atención y acompañamiento a las familias durante los primeros días de vida del bebé.
Actualmente forma parte del equipo de consulta de pediatría, realizando el seguimiento del recién nacido, la educación sanitaria a las familias y el apoyo en lactancia, así como en otros procedimientos propios del ámbito materno-infantil.
Cuenta con formación en puericultura y amplia experiencia en el cuidado práctico del bebé durante los primeros meses.
